The medium
All paintings are made using traditional oil paint or natural pigments mixed with linseed oil. Most paintings are on a recycled board with some imperfections to play with. If paintings are framed, frames are made of either waxed or painted pine or oak.
Prints
Prints are made on a "Platinum Etching 285 is 100% acid-free, fine art paper with a velvety, textured surface. Platinum Etching is 25% cotton and 75% alpha-cellulose. When used in conjunction with pigment inks, the paper will ensure a print life of 85 years. " Fotospeed website.
